What about my heathen Professor??? by "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." -Hebrews 11:3 I really love freedom and I support freedom of religion. If you want to be a heathen, atheist, Hindu, or what ever then that's your choice. I may not respect that choice but I am glad you and I have that choice (for now). God does not force us to worship Him but He does wish everyone would come to repentance but He will not force anyone to accept him as Lord. "GREAT is the LORD and GREATLY to be praised, and his GREATNESS is unsearchable!" -Psalm 145:3 I am writing this article because I am sick and tired of godless heathen professors trying to discourage millions of students all across the country. I had to take a class in college recently called religions. Lo and behold the first thing the teacher wants to establish, is that the bible is just a book that is not divinely inspired. He claims to have disproven the bible and that we (biblical Christians) should not think we are right. But if you are a Hindu or an open minded ecumenical idiot that's okay! In my last three years of school I have noticed this to be the norm especially in humanities classes as well as others. All of a sudden I cant think that my view is correct any more. I now have to accept your view! Why is this? Well, my friend I will tell you, it's because there is a constant vacuum in the world that only the Lord Jesus Christ can fill. Sure other ideas can provide a little blockage of this vacuum and provide a false sense of security for a while; but it wont last. Why do I have to submit to your view? You see some ones view will always be edging its way into the battle for position in the vacuum. Why cant you just teach the material. I don't see a problem with you having any personal view you want; it's when you say I cant succeed in this class or this world unless I renounce my views and take yours that I have a problem. "Know ye
that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we
ourselves..." -Psalm 100:3 If you take every idea and every religion in the world, only one can be right. We know this because we are here. If you say there is no truth you are wrong by that very statement. As soon as you say there is NO TRUTH you are admitting a concept that you hold to be absolute, or TRUTH and only that specific concept can be correct. If you say that each religion has truth and in the end God will sort it out, then that falls into another idea and only that can be the truth. Only one answer is right no matter how you look at it. "...Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. Pilate saith unto him, What is truth?..." -John 18:37,38
Another thing that bothers me is that these heathen professors love to classify us biblical Christians along with Catholics, Mormons, and anyone that supposedly teaches about Christ. It's no surprise that they don't know that these religions have a different Christ. Today most Christian churches use different versions of the bible which are all contradictory. They love to use this as well. Although I will say that many good heathen debaters are familiar with the king James. They cant understand it because they are not saved but they can sure point out contradictions comparing them to other versions and use that against you. I don't mind classes like religion because it should give me a working knowledge of them so I can use that information as I see fit. They should not be set up as brain washing camps. I pay the tuition and I never knew sacrificing my beliefs for yours was a prerequisite. It's okay to believe in anything these days except Jesus Christ. I have a teacher that says science and hypnosis have proven reincarnation. This is a lie of the devil. Hypnosis has shown people to believe that they used to be batman, or abducted by aliens, or many other things. Can all these be true! Not if you believe in reincarnation.
Reincarnation is silly to say the least.
