Sure you can live!
Just don't claim to be biblical.

"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him" (1 John 2:15)
If this isn't copying the world than I don't know what is. It's not my intent to pick on these guys but that's how anyone that disagrees with me is going to take it. To all Christian brothers and sisters out there that are caught up in the holy hip hop movement just know that I do care about you and that's why I bring these things up. I said it before and I will say it again... holy hip hop is unbiblical. If you want to listen to this music than fine but don't claim it to be biblical and keep it out of the churches. The bible says this-For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth;...(Romans 1:16) The Gospel does not need hip hop culture in order to be effective for today, that is a lie straight out of the pits of hell and I hear this constantly. This life style really is teaching our kids that its okay to look like a pimp and sag your pants like a sodomite in prison as long as you talk about Jesus. All the while the devil is laughing at you because you have fallen right in to his repackaged snare.
Song is called Can I live By T-Bone/The first video I put up got removed this one should work. If not just do a search in YouTube or Google for the song name and watch it that way.
It's obvious by the lyrics in this song that T-Bone does not really understand true success. I am not writing this because I am jealous of his car or anything like that. I am writing this to simply warn people that this behavior will lead you astray spiritually. True success is what you do with your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Did you contend for the faith, did you help your brothers and sisters in Christ, did you tell the lost that the only way to heaven is by simply believing that Jesus Christ is Who He says He is? These are the things that will define our success in the next life, not cars with 22 inch chrome wheels as our homie T-Bone is teaching us.
So you guys tell me T-Bone shares the gospel huh! Well is this the Gospel he shares on his web site "Versatile is who I am," the ever-amped and spirited rapper shouts! "I make music for everybody - stuff for the West Coast gangsters and lowriders, and joints that East Coast cats can appreciate lyrically with beats that can still get the South crunk. My roots are in Nicaragua and El Salvador, so I got Black, Spanish and White in me. I mix it up like rice and beans, baby!" This is the crowd T-Bone is after not biblical Christians and not the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. He never credits the Lord for saving him on his website and I can't find any kind of Gospel message in fact he gives much credit to Ernesto Guevara de la Serna (June 14, 1928 – October 9, 1967), commonly known as Che Guevara or El Che, was an Argentine-born Marxist revolutionary, political figure, and leader of Cuban and internationalist guerrillas (source). Is Marxism compatable with the Lord Jesus Christ and His teachings?
Che Guevera
T-Bone's Record Cover
"I know my cover is controversial," T-Bone states, "but there are parallels. One, I represent God and when Jesus was on Earth He himself was very controversial. Two, I'm Hispanic, so I did something I felt represented for my people. Three, when you think of Che Guevara you think revolution, which also reflects struggle and militancy. I wanted people to see my CD cover and immediately get that I'm comin' up to change the game." T-Bone is no casual convert to the ideologies of Guevara. He's been sporting a tattoo of the legend on his arm for years. "What I respect most about Che is that he was for the people," T-Bone reasons. "For instance, Fidel Castro was down with him at first, but they broke up because Castro let the power go to his head and became a dictator. Meanwhile - even when he became empowered - Che still worked in the fields with the people. He always remembered where he came from and what he was fighting for."
Proving his solidarity with the secular rebels of rap, T-Bone collaborates with two major street rappers on Bone-A-Fide. First, there's West Coast legend Mack 10. "People might think guys like Mack 10 are just gangstas," T-Bone states, "but gangstas are looking for God, too. That's what our song 'A Few Good Men' (produced by Fredwreck, Dr. Dre’s right-hand man) is about. (source)
So proving solidarity with the secular rappers and idolizing Marxist Christ haters is what its all about huh! Wow we really do have different Gospels don't we.
"Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing..." -2nd Corinthians 6:17
"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever." -1st John 2:15-17
