This is Christian? This is Christ like?
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,
that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:2)
This is a Christian punk band named Showbread and let me tell you there is nothing Christian about it. Where is Jesus Christ in any of these photos? Where is the Gospel? Show me how to be saved on their website? Friend do you read and believe in the Bible? If so do you listen to this music? Do you not see the harm? If not you need to get right with God.
Let me tell you there is nothing Christian about this band, their video, or the program that play's them. I mean the members have painted finger nails, lip rings, and on top of all that they act real feminine. I mean just look at the photos that I have provided. Does that look homosexual or what? I know quite a few Christians that see this and just don't care because they are allowed on a so called Christian network.
"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him" (1 John 2:15) Does that make sense? I mean it does to me and I am slow, just ask any one that knows me. Look there are tons of scriptural reasons to stay away from this band and this music.
With the homosexual movement battling for positions in our schools and churches you can bet its going to slip in through this new type of music. The devil wants to destroy and he is pretty good at what he does but the main issue is our weakness to not do what's right. Most churches have abandoned God's word for Westcott and Horts New age psychology inspired bibles. Parents, do not let this crap into your house. I personally know of a church that would probably play this music during worship! How sad and how tragic!
Punk rock is an anti-establishment music movement that began about 1975 (although precursors can be found several years earlier), exemplified by The Ramones, the Sex Pistols, The New York Dolls, The Damned, and The Clash. The term is also used to describe subsequent music scenes that share key characteristics with those first-generation "punks," and it is often applied loosely to mean any band with "attitude" or "youthful aggression." The term is sometimes also applied to the fashions or the irreverent "DIY" ("do it yourself") attitude associated with this musical movement. source
Folks does that definition sound like anything that the Lord wants Christians associated with? Is it okay because they say some "Christian things"?
| How can you tell the difference
between these heathen punks and the average punk rock band? The
answer is, you cant.
"Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing..." -2nd Corinthians 6:17
Below is a piece from their website. However, with such pandemonium displayed in their live show, it seems the real challenge would be to create an album worthy of displaying this dynamism. But with the help of veteran producer, Silvia Massy (Prince, Tool, Johnny Cash), the sound of Showbread has never been stronger." Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?" -2nd Corinthians 6:14 Okay, Silvia Massy whom helped produce these other ungodly horrible satanic form's of music is going to really help produce a Christian band????? What's next Christian cocaine??? I don't think so; please read the above scripture again. "Come out from among them" I don't see the part in scripture were the Lord said you can just pick and chose from his word and you will be fine. I mean it's probably in the NIV or something but it sure is heck isn't in Gods word.
Show me how to be saved on their website! Show me Christ in these photos! Would you listen to this music in the Lords presence? If so click here...
The truth is, these are nothing but godless heathen punks deceiving an ignorant video game and television struck Cafeteria Christian generation. I'd like to also know how and with what Steelroots uses to research these bands. An NIV maybe? Or a cracker jack box? Which is it? Could it be the satanic bible? I mean I don't know? It's beyond me. I want some one to tell me. Look it's obvious that you cant make it in this business if you want to proclaim the truth about the gospels. CCM artists do not give clear presentations of the gospel.
