Network Biased against Christians to air a blasphemous mockery of Jesus Christ our Rock!

"And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:" (Romans 1:28-32)

I recently learned that NBC has censored some parts of the Veggie Tales cartoons because they talk about "God". I wasn't the least bit surprised but as a Christian this makes me upset for many reasons. Read what NBC said concerning this issue: NBC says comments such as "God made you special and He loves you very much" were offensive and censored them from the show.-(http://www.afa.net/madonnamock.asp)  I am so disgusted with the satanically controlled media and their war on true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, but what is more disgusting is the fact that some Christians will continue to watch the filth on these network stations. NBC says that "God" is offensive to some members of their audience, implying that they do care about their audience and how they feel. Well, the problem with this is that they have a Christian audience as well. What about them? They are not afraid to air shows like Will & Grace and other shows which promotes homosexuality, Passions a soap immersed in witchcraft, and so on. The amount of perversion and ungodliness is too much to mention. Do they care about that? That is very offensive to me and I am Biblically commanded to abstain from all appearances of evil (Thessalonians 5:22). Sometimes people accuse me of being a legalist because of all the "moral stuff" on this site. I usually just laugh because that is a true sign of a cafeteria Christian that does not hold the Word of God as the final authority in their lives. I am not saying you cant watch these shows on NBC but God said you can't and not only that, but you shouldn't! Over time these immoral shows on TV will kill you spiritually. I know many Christians that try and defend the shows on this and other networks that are total blasphemy. So on one side of this coin I can see how they get away with the hypocrisy. I just hope that this article will wake some one up from sleep even just one person. Christians need to realize that the media is not our friend. We need to be careful of the things we watch and I am not saying you cant watch their news or anything crazy like that but just take notice of this and try and fight it because it is not right. Christians have a right to not be offended too. No Christian should ever let stuff like this go by, we are told to earnestly contend for the faith (Jude 1:3). Do you think Jude 1:3 was a recommendation or a "if you want to" kind of statement? I sure hope not and I sure pray not.

"That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness" -2nd Thessalonians 2:12

It should also be noted that Jesus Christ can be mentioned on NBC as long as He is being mocked. That is the prerequisite according to this statement: Kevin Reilly, an executive at NBC, said Madonna considered the scene mocking the crucifixion of Christ the highlight of her show. "We (NBC) viewed it and didn't see it as being inappropriate." Madonna considers mocking the crucifixion of Jesus the highlight of her show and NBC agrees.(afa.net) What hypocrisy!!!!! What blindness!!!!! What an impetuous thing to say; that there is nothing offensive or wrong with mocking the Lord Jesus Christ. I feel sorry for these people because they will burn in hell fire if they do not believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ before their appointed time to die.

"For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things." -Philippians 3:18,19

NBC, Madonna Mock The Crucifixion of Christ While Censoring Veggie Tales

Program to air in November, Christians need to get involved

Following the lead of Rosie O’Donnell and ABC saying radical Christians are equal to Muslims who fly planes into buildings, cut off the heads of humans and kill children with suicide bombs, NBC has decided to join in the bashing of Christians by airing a Madonna special in November.  A specific date has not been released.

In the show, Madonna, wearing a fake crown of thorns, descends on a suspended mirrored, disco ball-type cross.  When some Christian leaders complained about the mockery, NBC ignored their concerns.  A video and pictures of this mockery can be viewed online at www.afa.net.

Making mockery of the crucifixion of Christ has been a trademark of Madonna for many years.  In 1989 she had a video for the hit song “Like A Prayer.”  The video featured burning crosses, statues crying blood and Madonna, representing Jesus, freeing a saint from his sexual repression by seducing him.  This is the same Madonna who once said, “Crucifixes are sexy because there’s a naked man on them.”

Kevin Reilly, an executive at NBC, said Madonna considered the scene mocking the crucifixion of Christ the highlight of her upcoming show.  “We (NBC) viewed it and didn’t see it as being inappropriate.”  Madonna considers mocking the crucifixion of Jesus the highlight of her show and NBC agrees.

ANTI-CHRISTIAN BIAS CONTINUES

NBC also censored Bible verses and expressions of Christian love from the children's cartoon Veggie Tales being shown Saturday mornings on NBC.

NBC says comments such as "God made you special and He loves you very much" were offensive and censored them from the show.

In response to the outrage over the allegations that NBC was ordering the removal of any references to God and the Bible from the animated series, the network first issued a flat denial. As reported in Broadcasting & Cable, NBC had to "clip off the beginning and ending tags, which are Bible verses, but they were also arguably the easiest cut to make."

The creator of Veggie Tales, Phil Vischer, said NBC's excuse for censoring the Bible verses was not true. Vischer said, "Well, that's kinda funny, because as the guy required to do all the editing, I know that statement is false...The show wasn't too long, it was too Christian. The show was already cut down to the proper length, so timing had nothing to do with it."
