Do you walk in Tongues?? One verse that many charismatics like to throw at you to back up their heresy of speaking in tongues is Jude 1:20 which says But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy spirit. What the charismatic really wants or tells themselves, is that this verse means or should say ...praying in tongues instead of praying in the Holy sprit. They say thats what it means to pray in the spirit. This how ever is false. Consider Galatians 5 : 16 which says This I say then, walk in the spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. So, if you are walking in the spirit are you walking around babbling some language that know one understands including yourself? Of course not that would be silly and an indication of some serious drug use. The same principle applies to Jude 1:20 as well. It means to pray in the spirit as opposed to the flesh. Yep, that's it. Pretty simple right. If you are at a church that teaches that you need, should or can speak in tongues, then you need to leave. There is no such thing as a heavenly prayer language. It dose not exist in the Bible anywhere. If some one tells you it does send me the verses because I have been looking for them. I have read the Bible through and not found anything. In fact I have read the New Testament through several times now and still do not see it. Every ecumenical charismatic service I have attended has this doctrine. No one ever speaks in tongues. People supposedly pray in tongues, but you never hear any one speak in tongues the way it was so in the Bible. Why is that? This gift was the least important out of all of the gifts mentioned in 1 Corinthians chapter 12; but yet in charismatic circles this is the one gift pushed the most. The reason behind this is because its the easiest to fake.
You have to accept that and move on. I don't care if you have had
the "experience" as so many call it. So do Mormons, witches,
Catholics, and many other pagan religions. Their people say the same
exact thing, "I had the experience". Surely they can't all be of the
Lord. In fact they are of their father the devil and if you practice
this heathen doctrine you are following the devils ecumenical will
to push the religions together so he can drag them down to hell with
him! Obviously if you are participating in this fake practice at your church, you are
not going to hell if you are truly saved but you will be judged by
the Lord and have to give an account for that someday. You will lose
rewards for this. Once you are saved you are always saved! Make no
mistake about that. When Jesus said it's finished he paid 100% of
your sin bill on the cross. For sins past present and future. We
cant do anything, Jesus did it all and now we have the ability to
accept this free gift of salvation which I hope you have done or
will do right now.
