A hard look inside the Holy Hip Hop/Christian rap movement.
Holy Hip hop/Christian rap is by far the most complained about section on this entire website, so we are going to take a deep ongoing biblical examination of the subject which will defend our position that it is highly unbiblical. YES, I said UNBIBLICAL and guess what? I don't care if real Christians are in the movement; where are we told to give blind loyalty to people just because they are Christians? Where? It is not in the King James Bible I can tell you that right now.
"And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light." (-2nd Corinthians 11:14) Meaning what? This means that the devil (Satan) can transform himself to appear as an adversary of Christians. So guess what Christians? This means that many of you are being duped and don't even realize it because you do error not knowing the scriptures!
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16) Okay, what this means is that the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth. Too easy right? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what that means. THE GOSPEL IN ITSELF SAVES BECAUSE IT IS THE POWER UNTO SALVATION!!!!!
Hip hop & rap culture
Okay let's examine how it all started and what the vision is. Below is some information from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rap_music.
Hip hop music (also referred to as rap or rap music) is a style of popular music which came into existence in roughly the mid '70s but became a large part of modern day pop culture in the late '80s. It consists of two main components: rapping (MCing) and DJing (audio mixing and scratching). Along with breakdancing and graffiti (tagging), these compose the four elements of hip hop, a cultural movement that was initiated by inner-city youth, mostly African Americans[1] in New York City, in the early 1970s. In 2006, rap music was the second-most popular form of music in the United States after classical music[2]. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rap_music
Hip hop music is a part of hip hop, a cultural movement that includes the activities of breakdancing and graffiti art, as well as associated slang, fashion and other elements. The popularity of music has helped to popularize hip hop culture, both in the United States and to a lesser degree abroad.
Hip hop has probably encountered more problems with censorship than any other form of popular music in recent years, due to the use of expletives.
In 2001, the first annual PeaceOUT World Homo Hop Festival, which features performers by openly lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered rappers was held in Oakland, California, and the festival has continued on an annual basis since then.
Of special importance is the rule-based slang of Snoop Dogg and E-40, who add -izz to the middle of words so that shit becomes shizznit (the addition of the n occurs occasionally as well). This practice, with origins in Frankie Smith's non-sensical language from his 1980 single "Double Dutch Bus," has spread to even non-hip hop fans, who may be unaware of its derivation.
"I love to express what real niggas feel, what street niggas feel. They need to be heard. They need to know there is a voice that speaks for them, and I am that voice." source
"I like girls and I like money." source
So far we have established very quickly the fact that the hip hop/rap movement is not of God but of the WORLD. It's not hard to see; in fact there are tons of other pictures and quotes to prove this. They key factor here is that this movement came from the WORLD which the Lord HATES.
"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them." -Ephesians 5:11
"Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God." (James 4:4)
Since the hip-hop/rap movement and culture was started by heathens, what makes it okay for Christians? Is it biblical to copy the world? They often say their goal is to just make money but if you look beyond the artists you find a much more sinister plan. A plan that is so disgusting it makes me sick. Think about it! Why do record companies and the media allow this stuff into our society? Even 50 years ago the heathens would have flipped out over the content of this music today. Or would they have just said "they" are not ready for it yet. Hmmm.... It's pretty easy to see that some one does not like a society in order or with any kind of values. This music is all part of Satan's desensitization program that he is carrying out through the elite.
You might be wondering how I can say that the holy hip hop artists are copying after the world right? That's what all the e-mails have been asking, I get one a day now about this if not more. Well lets take a look into the Christian rap scene and culture and see if it is any different.
Holy Hip-hop/Christian rap & Culture
He that trusteth in his own heart (emotions) is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely (Word of God), he shall be delivered. (Proverbs 28:28) (emphasis mine)
Many of the holy hip-hop artists are sincere in there beliefs and appear to be doing a good thing (remember the angel of light thing) but do appearances over shadow the Bible? Are we to trust in our emotions over the Word of the Lord? Is not the Gospel the POWER UNTO SALVATION? The problem we have here is that the holy hip-hop movement places an emphasis on FELT NEEDS AND ENTERTAINMENT to reach the lost or as they call "unchurched" (what ever that means). Now here is the kicker!!! The lyrics are different and do have in some cases a "Christian" appearance. No cussing or anything like that. They might even throw in Jesus here and there as long as they are not too main-stream, but get this. The culture is just the same! And I will prove it to you in a moment. The clothing, hairstyles, and slang are the same. So guess what my cafeteria Christian e-mailers? That is a direct VIOLATION OF SCRIPTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This means only one thing, and that is that you all have been hoodwinked by Satan and his HOMIES! The holy hip-hop advocates tell me all the time that you can only reach the troubled teens if you are like them and understand them. How can this be when the WORD says that the gospel alone is the power unto salvation for all that believe? It also says to come out of the world and to separate yourselves!!!! HOW CAN YOU ALL KEEP HOUNDING ME ABOUT THIS WHEN WE HAVE SEEN THAT HIP HOP IS OF THE WORLD? Christians can I ask you a simple question? DO YOU THINK THE BIBLE IS A JOKE? From some of these e-mails I am getting lately I would say so. We must do everything we can to separate from our old natures. Stop e-mailing me comments like "you think you are perfect" and such. I do not think that nor is it true at all. As I have said before many of you are better Christians than me. I am an idiot and find myself making mistakes around the clock! No one on this earth is perfect but I do put the Word first in my life as many of you sending me nasty letters do not.
When I first saw these photos below I couldn't believe they were actually professing to be Christian. Look at their clothing, expressions, and tell me that is not the same hip hop culture the devil started.

The Christian rappers dress the same, act the same, talk the same, walk the same, and play the same beats as so called secular rappers/hip-hop artists. The only thing different are the words. Do you think music in and of itself is neutral? Guess again my friends! It's not and common sense proves that. When you listen to rock or rap it often gives you a euphoric feeling of pride and anger. When my 2 year old hears music he dances even though he does not understand the words. The lyrics to him are only a sound. The same types of feelings go for hip-hop and rap and all the other genres. I am not saying that all music is bad. But rap and rock were founded by heathens that were very rebellious against biblical values. These life styles are contrary to sound appearance and doctrine. This hip hop and rock stuff has found it's way into professing Christian churches on Sunday mornings! Do you think the Creator of Heaven and earth is okay with that? Does His Word not say that the Gospel IN ITSELF IS THE POWER UNTO SALVATION? Look very carefully at this: if the Gospel has the power to save by it self like the LORD says than by all of you dressing and acting like the worldly hip hop crowd to attract the lost is like a slap in the face to the Lord. Because He says His Word can save by itself not by masquerading as the enemy to reach the lost.
People keep telling me that holy hip hop helps people on the streets. I have two problems with that statement:
1. Almost every religion on earth has helped some people on the streets. I just saw a documentary that showed different Buddhist exercises helping gang members in prison deal with their tempers. These exercises of building sand art and meditation have really genuinely helped gang members and been proven to be effective. Is this Biblical? Does it provide an escape from HELL? Even some (and I mean some) cafeteria Christians know enough to see that the Buddhist religion is wrong. Catholics, Mormons, BWF, and all the hell bound religions of the world help people on the streets. Most of them even talk about Jesus!!!!!! Are they biblical? I have had a few Christians tell me yes!
2. Do we then push the Gospel aside because something helps people?????? Well do we Christians??? Please e-mail me some chapters and verses please!!!!!!!! The Word say's that the Gospel in and of it self will help you from the lake of fire; not holy hip hop.
As with Christian rock artists these holy rappers are quoted all the time in the media praising the works of secular rappers and hip hop artists. What does this mean you ask? It means that there is no such thing is Christian rap or rock in God's eye's because He said to come out of the world; not be like it for a chance of doing good. "But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation." (1 Peter 1:15) This verse does not say anything about adopting a slang to reach people does it. Well neither does the Bible! We are commanded over and over again to flee from worldly lusts but yet the devil moves in and says "YE HATH GOD SAID? and the next thing you know all of professing Christianity is jumping on the wagon that is driven by the serpent.

I welcome all e-mails on this subject for good friendly discussion. I want to help anyone that is willing but I notice that no one is reading these articles through. More importantly they are not reading the scripture which is bad news. Please do both and e-mail, this section is going to be updated often.
